Mileage200,258Service Date4/18/2024Services Performed- UPON INSPECTION SCANNED THE VEHICLE FOR TROUBLE CODES, FOUND SEVERAL TROUBLE CODES, TROUBLE CODE RELATED TO THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN IS U0101 Lost communication with transmission control module (TCM) GAINED ACCESS AND PERFORMED ON DEMAND TESTING TO MONITOR READINGS, TCM IS NOT GETTING THE PROPER VOLTAGE, INSPECTED THE WIRING HARNESS AT THE TRANSMISSION FOR ANY DAMAGE, OKAY, TRACED THE WIRING TOWARDS THE TCM AND DURING INSPECTION REMOVED A METAL WIRING LOOM HANGER, UPON REMOVAL FOUND THAT THE WIRING LOOM HAS RUBBED ON THE BRACKET AND DAMAGED SOME WIRING, TESTED THE WIRING AND FOUND THAT THE WIRE THAT HAS BEEN DAMAGED IS THE MAIN POWER FEED TO THE TCM, CUT OUT DAMAGED SECTION OF WIRING AND SOLDERED IN A NEW SECTION, DID NOT RUN THE WIRING LOOM THROUGH THE METAL BRACKET, ZIP TIED INSTEAD TO PREVENT FUTURE DAMAGE, RETEST AND AT THIS TIME THE VEHICLE IS SHIFTING AND RUNNING AS DESIGNED AND IT IS OUT OF LIMP MODE, CUSTOMER IS AWARE THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WAS ON PRIOR TO SERVICE AND IS STILL ON
